There are so many domestic violence shelters due to the fact; the laws that are used do not help victims. Even though the police department, judges and government knows the truth very little is done to protect helpless families. Often times the abuser is a narcissist and pathological liar; switching the story in front of the authorities. Knowing that, the authorities still choose to protect the criminal and call justice a crime.
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. …
( 2 Timothy 3:1-8 )
It is expected that the victim continue to be harrassed and abused without any retaliation or self defense. Most victims stay because they find there is no help. The only way to have peace is to run and hide. The abuse is mind boggling; the victim often wonders, Why won’t they help me and what kind of justice system is this?
Being real is a rare quality. Not everyone can attain. One of my high school teachers had a saying, “fake it till you make it.” I always tried to understand what he meant by that, but it was hard for me. It’s difficult to be fake when all you know is real.
Finally, all of you, have unity in mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
(1 Peter 3:8)
How can we be unified, if we aren’t real with one another? Usually there are hidden agendas that causes people to be fake. Eventually the truth will prevail and be known. It’s better to be honest with yourself, if not it’s only a waist of time.
Christ’s parables teach us that we must love our enemies and do good to those who persecute us. Is this not the exact opposite of what this world/society teaches? We are to watch and pray that we may not be seduced from the Gospel. Beware of seducing spirits.
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints…
( Ephesians 6:18 )
God’s Word encourages us to pray for all. Presidents, politicians, and contentious personalities. To lead a peaceful/quite life; godly and dignified in every aspect. This is pleasing to our Father, who desires all to be saved and come into the truth of knowledge.
Endurance is a necessity during this day and age. From politics to living with an arduous person. Often times there’s little relief. The will to tolerate suffering without becoming angry and bitter is a virtue.
And endurance produces character, and character produces hope…
No matter the circumstances, we must continue to remain calm. Especially in difficult situations. Patience produces character. Don’t let negativity pull you off track. Be patient and see the work of the Lord.
We were given; everything we need to oppose all malice. God’s Word encourages us to refrain from all bitterness, wrath and slander. He urges us to be tenderhearted and kind one to another. Forgiving; as Christ forgave us.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds…
(2 Corinthians 10:4)
At one time or another we all have struggled against addiction, pride or lusts of youth. These are some forms of strongholds that keep people bound. The Word of God is combat for battle.
His Love is so amazing. What would we do without him? Jesus came to earth to show us; everything we know is the exact opposite of truth. This was done by Dictators to dominate humanity. The less we know; the more we can be controlled.
Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Learn as much as possible, about everything going on around you. Anything coming is just an old strategy packaged in a new way. Focus on history, but remember it’s his story (storytelling) not our story (actual events).
We must keep fighting for the best. No matter the situations in life. I admit it can be exhausting, but change will come eventually.
Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered. Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”
( Genesis 32 : 26-28 )
Jacob wrestled with the man all night for his blessing. It even cost him his hip out of joint, but that did not stop him. Jacob didn’t mind because in the end the fight changed his name.
Mirror my heart oh Lord; show me the depth of my of my Mind, Will, and Emotions. There is so much hurt turmoil and fear. You are my Strength to keep going each day.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
Teach me to reflect who You are on to everyone that will come into contact with me. Oh Lord my God You are One nothing missing; nothing broken. I strive each day to be more like You.
